RETURNS & REFUNDS

Clark's Tool & Equipment stands behind every product we sell. To ensure your satisfaction, we strictly adhere to the Returns & Refunds Policy outlined below.

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. For returns meeting this policy’s requirements, we offer a full refund (less return shipping costs, unless specified otherwise below).

Returns are accepted only if the product is unused and in its original packaging, except in these cases:

  • Defective Products: Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 10 days of receiving the item(s). If the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, please contact Clark's Tool & Equipment at 816-452-7873 or at customerservice@clarkstool.com. We will provide you with a return label and simple instructions regarding how to handle the merchandise when returning it. Please save the carton and all the packing material as well as the item. Please have the order confirmation, invoice and/or packing slip ready when you call. A copy of the invoice must accompany all returns. A replacement item will be shipped to you once the item being returned has been received. 
  • Incorrect Shipments: If we ship the wrong product, we’ll email you a prepaid shipping label for the return.
  • Lost/Damaged Shipment: By contacting Clark's Tool & Equipment regarding a lost delivery and/or returning an item due to shipping error or damage, you are (a) assigning to Clark's Tool & Equipment any and all claims you have against the carrier for lost or damaged merchandise and (b) waiving your right to assert a claim against the carrier for such lost or damaged merchandise. In some cases you may be asked to provide pictures of the damaged or incorrect merchandise before Clark's Tool & Equipment initiates the return process. 

For all other returns, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Non-Returnable Items: Per Department of Transportation regulations, items that have held gas, diesel, or flammable liquids are non-returnable. Warranty claims (e.g., repair or replacement) may be an option instead.
  • For truck deliveries signed "free and clear," we may not accept claims for damage or out-of-box issues. Inspect all truck shipments thoroughly before signing. For new product returns via truck, the customer handles return shipping costs and is not refunded initial shipping fees (even if originally free). Customers are responsible for safe packaging and return logistics, though we’ll provide a lift gate if one was used initially.

·       Incorrect Shipping Address: In the event a customer enters the incorrect shipping address on an order, Clark's Tool & Equipment may require the customer to pay for any charges related to modifying the shipping address with the carrier and/or additional shipping charges incurred in order to make the delivery on the order complete. In the event a package is returned to Clark's Tool & Equipment due to an incorrect address, Clark's Tool & Equipment will retain the merchandise until the customer contacts Clark's Tool & Equipment to make arrangements for a new address or request a refund. Customers must contact Clark's Tool & Equipment to request a refund; refunds will not be issued automatically. Orders returned due to incorrect shipping addresses entered by the customer may be subject to a 10% restocking fee and a $30 return service fee.

·       Refusal of Delivery: In the event a customer refuses the delivery of an order from Clark's Tool & Equipment and such product is returned to Clark's Tool & Equipment in the original, undamaged, unopened and resalable condition, such orders will be subject to a $30 return service fee and a 10% restocking fee. Shipping charges on any such refused delivery will be completely non-refundable. Clark's Tool & Equipment will retain the refused product until the customer contacts Clark's Tool & Equipment to make arrangements for reshipment or request a refund. Customers must contact Clark's Tool & Equipment to request a refund; refunds will not be issued automatically.

RETURN PROCESS

To start a return, you can contact us through email at customerservice@clarkstool.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 74 E US Highway 69 Kansas City, MO 64119

·         Clark's Tool & Equipment recommends all returns sent via a common carrier (i.e. UPS, FedEx, USPS) using a traceable shipping method allowing you to retain all shipping documents with tracking numbers for proof of delivery to Clark's Tool & Equipment. Please allow up to 2 weeks from when items from you return are received by our staff at Clark's Tool & Equipment for processing. 

  • We do not charge restocking fees unless otherwise noted.
  • Lost or damaged return packages are never your responsibility—we’ll offer a reshipment (if available) or refund at your discretion.
  • Refunds process 1-3 business days after we receive the return.
  • International returns are not accepted.

·         Upon completion of return processing a refund will be made by crediting the original form of payment or via check from Clark's Tool & Equipment within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at customerservice@clarkstool.com. In the event a discrepancy is found with a returned item, a representative from Clark's Tool & Equipment will contact you to discuss the situation and possibly ask for more information. If after contacting you for more information, if Clark's Tool & Equipment finds that a return cannot be allowed, all items will be returned to the ship-to address on your original order.

WARRANTIES

Clark's Tool & Equipment offers a generous 30-day return period per our Returns & Refunds Policy. Beyond this, most products we sell include manufacturer warranties extending well past 60 days. For issues outside our return window, contact the manufacturer directly first. If you need help reaching a manufacturer or have warranty questions, we’re here to assist.
